Siguiendo una tradición de 26 años se reunió la Comisión Organizadora de la Letra del Año el 31 de Diciembre del 2012, en la Casa Templo situado en Ave. 10 de Octubre # 1509 e/ Josefina y Gertrudis, Víbora, Municipio 10 de Octubre, Ciudad de La Habana, Cuba.

Esta ceremonia fue presidida por el sacerdote de Ifá David Cedrón “Otura Sa” y el respaldo de los Sacerdotes de Ifa de todas las familias de Cuba y sus descendientes en el Mundo, saco la letra el Sacerdote mas pequeño.

Signo Regente: OBE OTURA

Oración Profética: Tragedia entre las personas por usurpación de derechos

Shango Onire: Ofrenda (Harina con quimbombó y 2 velas)

Onishe ara: Baños con Guirnaldas blancas y moradas y se le agrega aguardiente.

Onishe ile: Sarayeye con 7 hierbas fuertes a las cuales se le sopla aguardiente y se le polvorea cascarilla y se amarran con una cinta roja. 

EBBO: Akuko Fifeshu, tierra de las 4 esquinas, agua de mar, tierra podrida, una daga  y los demás ingredientes.

Divinidad Regente: Shango (Representa la manifestación de la ira de Olodumare (creador supremo). Es el lanzador de rayos, el dueño de las tormentas, la divinidad que quema recintos y ciudades. Shango es hijo de Oranyan el poderoso guerrero hijo de Oduduwa. Shango prohíbe mentir, robar y envenenar. Es el fiscal del cielo. Se adora en toda la tierra yoruba especialmente en la ciudad de Oyo.

Divinidad Acompañante: Oshun: Divinidad de la maternidad y protectora de los niños. Originaria de Ijumu y Oshugbo, Nigeria donde se encuentra el rio que lleva su nombre. Se le hacen sacrificios para la protección de nuestros hijos, durante el embarazo y a temprana edad (post natal). Se recibe para aliviar los problemas con los hijos y ayuda en la formación y conducta de los mismos.

Bandera del Año: De forma rectangular,mitad Blanca y mitad amarilla con ribetes rojo.

 

Enfermedades de cuidado Extremo

  1. Trastornos cerebro vasculares (embolias, isquemias, etc)
  2. Enfermedades de la piel (Lepra, sarna, abscesos, forúnculos, etc)
  3. Trastornos con la presión arterial.

 

Acontecimientos de Interés social

  1. Aumento en la Importación y Ayuda Foránea.
  2. Nuevas medidas fiscales de interés común.
  3. Epidemias que llegan de otros países que afectaran mayormente a niños y ancianos..
  4. Descontento y sublevación en algún sector de la sociedad.
  5. Problemas serios en la agricultura por la contaminación de los suelos.
  6. Aumento de los trastornos que provoca la embriagues.
  7. Estafas de dinero en todas sus manifestaciones.

Recomendaciones

  1. Reforzar el sector de la neurología.
  2. Estudio fitoquímico de la raíz de eucaliptus y el caimito.
  3. Restablecer el sistema de enseñanza y las normas conductuales.
  4. Aumentar las inversiones en pesticidas y fertilizantes.
  5. Tener presente las falsas acusaciones y medidas judiciales injustas.
  6. Velar por la higiene en la manipulación de los alimentos.

Following a 26-year tradition, the Organizing Commission of the Sign of the Year gathered in the “House-Temple” located on 1509 Avenue 10 of October between Josefina y Gertrudis, Víbora, Municipality 10th of October, City of Habana, Cuba on 31 December 2012.

The ceremony was presided over by priest of Ifá David Cedrón Otura Sá with the support of the Ifá priests of all the “families” of Cuba and their descendants throughout the world. The sign was taken out by the youngest priest.

Reigning Sign: OGBE OTURA

Prophetic Direction: Tragedy occurring between people as a result of the usurpation of “rights” (“la usurpación de derechos”)

Shangó Onire: Offering: [corn] flour with okra and two candles.

Onishe ara: baths with white and purple guirnaldas to which aguardiente [cane rum] is added.

Onishe ile: Sarayeye with seven (7) strong plants on which aguardiente is blown, cascarilla is powdered, and which are tied together in a bunch with a red ribbon.  
                                                                                      
Ebó: Akukó Fifeshu, dirt from the four corners, sea wáter, putrified dirt, a dagger, and the rest of the ingredients.

Reigning Divinity: Shangó (He represents the wrath of Olodumare [supreme creator]). He hurls lightning bolts; he is the owner of storms and the divinity that burns buildings and cities. He is the son of Oranyan, the powerful warrior and son of Odudúwa. Shangó prohibits lying, robbing, and poisoning. He is heaven’s prosecutor. He is worshipped in Yorubaland, especially in Oyo

Accompanying Divinity: Oshún: Divinity of motherhood and protector of children. Her origin is Ijumu and Oshogbo, Nigeria, where the river carrying her name is found. To protect our children, sacrifices are made to her, during pregnancy and afterwards (post-natal). Oshún is received to alleviate problems that children have and in their raising and behavior.

Flag of the year: Rectangular form, half white and half yellow, with red borders.
