Volume 1:   Eyiogbe y Omolúos
The specific theme of the volume is the odu of Ifá Baba Eyiogbe, which represents the “east” and the rays of the sun. It is the sun itself that reigns. Baba Eyiogbe is the “father,” Ofun being the “mother,” of the rest of the fourteen Odu Meyi. Baba Eyigobe symbolizes the immense and magnificent irradiation of the heavens, which, under determinate unfavorable conditions, is made “material,” and in others, is an inexhaustible flow of the “spiritual.” Eyiogbe is the abundance of fortune and misfortune, according to the attitude it assumes. Eyiogbe finds reference in the vertebral column and the sternum, being the support of the body’s thorax. In the human being, Eyiogbe is the head, and in life, as a general concept, represents the Beginning, the Creation.

El tema específico del volumen es el Odun de Ifá Baba Eyiogbe que representa el este, los rayos del Sol y el propio Sol es quien lo rige. Es el padre, junto a Ofun, que es la madre, de los restantes catorce Odun Meyis. Simboliza una inmensa y descomunal irradiación astral que en determinadas condiciones desfavorables se materializa en otras; es una caudal inagotable de espiritualidad. Eyiogbe es abundancia de bienes y de males, según la actitud que se asuma. Eyiogbe allude a la columna vertebral y el esternón, sostén de la caja torácica. En el ser humano es la cabeza y en la vida, como concepto genérico, es el comienzo, la creación.
