Babalawo of Central Havana preparing Ifá
divination tray for “bringing down” Orunmila for a reading with
the ikín palmnuts.. He traces a crossroads-like figure in
the sacred iyefá dust on the tray’s surface, in which Ifá’s
“signs” or odu will be marked.
